Sara and Gavin were married on Saturday 5th July at Holy Trinity, Nailsea. Sara got ready at home with her bridesmaids and made her way to the church in Gavin’s Morris Minor “Ruby”. After the ceremony guests had only to cross the road for a tea party in the recently refurbished Title Barn. I had met Sara, Gavin and daughter Matilda earlier in the year and they had told me about their first date on Clevedon Pier. So they really wanted to be able to go and take some photos on the pier on their wedding day. Unfortunately the pier closes at 6pm in the evening and it was going to be almost impossible for us to get there to do any shots before then. Miraculously, the day before the wedding, a very kind lady agreed to come down and open the pier at 7pm – just for them. So we had the pier all to ourselves for almost an hour and the last few images below are what we came away with. It features the bench where they sat together on that first date…
