Luci and Andy were married on Saturday 28th June in Chard, Somerset. Luci got ready at the beautiful family home in Wadeford whilst Andy and ushers settled into the Haymakers Inn down the road. Weather was looking suspect, but it was afterall Glastonbury weekend! Things brightened up though and with a few bursts of rain created the opportunity for some wonderful photos too. Never stress if the weather is not ideal – there’s always a picture in there! Luci was seven month’s pregnant, but hardly noticeable in her dress. They had both been living and working in Ghana up until a short time before the wedding, so I was most impressed with the planning of the day by both families. The service was held at Combe St Nicholas, a very pretty church I had visited last year for a wedding. A horse drawn carriage got Luci & Andy back to the house for a reception on the lawn and then into the marquee for speeches and dinner. An absolutley gorgeous location for a classic Engligh country wedding! I had a very kind note from Luci too…” Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the photo package. It was beautifully put together and brought tears to my eyes… Thank you again for capturing the day for us, while also being so discreet! I didn’t even realise you’d taken a lot of the photos. Hopefully see you again at my sisters’ weddings.” 🙂
