The Wedding Of Conor & Ilana took place at Nonsuch Mansion, Cheam, Surrey on Friday 22nd June 2012. Both Conor & Ilana have huge experience in organising events through their jobs at the high end of the hotel industry, so I felt extremely honoured to have been asked to be their photographer. There was a touch of ‘vintage’ style about some of the details and interior so we had planned to subtley reflect this in the post production on the colour images. The weather looked a little ominous (as it has done for most of the summer) but other than an intense downpour right after the ceremony, the sun actually worked its way out for a large part of the day. This gave is the chance to shoot a few pictures in the stunning gardens at Nonsuch and give Conor & Ilana a little time out from the crowd. The venue itself is beautiful with high ceilings, lots of light and sumptuous wallpaper. Benita and the staff were thoroughly helpful and up together throughout the day which ensured a chilled, fun atmosphere. Hair and makeup was taken care of by the fabulous Sam Norman.
